How Should You Ready Yourself For An Interview With A Franchisor For A Much Wanted Franchise Opprotunity?

Some franchise opportunities can simply be bought without too much difficulty. As long as you have the cash required to meet the initial investment the business within a business can be yours. However, maybe you should question the sorts of franchise opportunity that can be simply purchased just like that, with no other selection criteria other than cash. Perhaps these are not the valid businesses that wish to expand their network using a franchise method, perhaps they are just after a quick buck.

If you are really hunting for the opportunities that a genuine franchise can provide you then you should at least be expecting a bit of a grilling when you approach the franchisor about having one of his franchise opportunities. The purpose of franchising a firm is to allow a quick growth without continual input into each new area from the company owners. This means that some of those management decisions must be handled by the franchisees and so it would seem extremely sensible for the company owner truly interested in growth to select individuals who can handle the issues ahead.

With this in mind, how should you get ready for an interview for a genuinely good franchise for sale? The first thing to do is to make certain that you have all your funds in order and that you have the applicable documentation to confirm that this is the case. If you can do this, first impressions will be good and the first check will be crossed off on the franchisors list.

Do not try to show that you know the industry in which  the franchise for sale sits very well. The whole plan of the franchise model is that you will be offered all the necessary training that you will need in order to be a success. Indeed the franchisor may feel that it is valuable if you have little knowledge of the product as it makes his job, having you trained to operate within his guidelines, a lot easier. The only thing to show here is that you have the ability to deal with the training provided and the capacity to run a small business in general terms. Things to cover here may be evidence of your ability to deal with staff, to problem solve, to work under pressure and to work to guidelines. All of these are rather general and should be relatively easy to show.

Finally do bear in mind that the franchisor will be expecting you to work with him and the rest of the team without resistance or argument. You have to put across your ability to work under your own steam as an individual but also make certain that you get the message across that you can be part of the team and conform to the rules. So in an interview situation listen well, consider questions and remarks carefully and do not rush into any replies. Remain level at all times and do not air any extreme views or ideas as these will cause disquiet. Throughout the meeting it is also a good idea to try to acertain if you will be able to stick to the stipulations set out by the franchise, assuming that they make sense and you want to be successful, this should not be too difficult.

Red Carpet Fashions – The elegant & sexy evening gowns to the horrible mistakes of unattractive dresses – according to couture house of Darius Cordell Inc designs.

I love when it is awards season .  The stars hit the red carpet when The Emmys are awarded to those who received the highest honors for their work in TV.  That’s all fine and good but…what will they be wearing ?  I liked most of the evening wear dresses on the red carpet .  But to be honest some of those designer dresses were just not all that fabulous.

To start with Jane Lynch.  When I at the start saw the dress I was not a fan .  But then as it was shown on NBC’s cameras it came to life.  The coloring was really nice with her fair skin.  I though her hair could have been a bit more crisp.  But let’s face it; she is not what some would call a lip stick lesbian.  I could have done with out that very visible seam line at the top of her hip.  But over all I thought the designer gown was really nice .

Now to one of the best dressed on the red carpet last night– Kim Kardashian.  OMG!  She looked amazing.   The hair, the make up, the jewelry, the shoes and then that evening gown.  Wow!  And if I heard it right that was her back up choice.  I am curious to know what her back up dress looked like.

Then there is Lea Michelle of Glee.   If her hair style was a bit more tamed ….she could have been one of the best looks of the night at the Emmy’s.  That Oscar de la Renta formal gown was incredible.  The navy blue color was very elegant and mature I thought for her age but still it was very glamorous.  A mild throw back to old Hollywood. I loved it.  But that make up and hair (to me) did not seem to relate to the gown at all.  For formal dresses that are so tadah… a better hair style would have sent it over the top .  And she in all probability would not have had to fool with it and move it around as much as she did with her hair being down.

One of my other favorite couture evening dresses  from last nights Emmy red carpet was Brook Burke.  Yes, it had a mild pageant dress flare to it but the overall design was incredible.  Her hair down worked for that coloring and gown.  That white chiffon evening gown was just breath taking.  The thigh high split was over the top but was also crucial in that styling of gown for that occasion.  It made her appear to look taller.   There was no embellishment or over done design.  It was just a simply white dress for a gorgeous woman.  I liked it.

Tina Fey’s choice for an elegant evening wear gown was slightlymatronly but still extremely elegant.  Wearing Oscar de la Renta as well, it was a stunning black beaded overlay gown.  The cut and fit were impeccable.  The styling of hair and jewelry also worked well with her designer gown.  It was a smart but also made he look a bit older than what she may be .

One of my other favorites was Claire Danes.  Again, I know this looked like some other pageant dresses that you may see on a national level.  Since that is where Darius Cordell Inc began it is hard for us to not fully apprecaite that look of a gown.  But the way Clare wore it with her blonde hair down and the coloring of the beading just looked fabulous.  It looked kind of coral & peachy – if not tan but whatever it was it was very lovely.  The beading appeared to have sequin, pearls and bugle beads but could never get tight enough on it to tell.  It was such a simply cut and uncomplicated beading design that it all got down to color and fit.  And that dress was definitely fitted to a tee.  It was one of the more simpler designs but it was still a lovely picture.

Now for a few of the more horrible formal gowns that were there last night.  I love evening dresses with full skirts.  They can be so elegant and rich looking.  But I have to say that blue mess that January Jones was wearing did not cut it for me.  It was so unattractive.  It is more or less like she was trying so hard to be different that she over missed the mark by a long shot.  Sometimes trying to be too far out of the box does not work .  And in this case it was not at all.  It looked like a drag queen costume for a Friday night show.  I was not happy with this piece of style at all .  There was nothing elegant, sophisticated or glamorous about it at all.  It looked more like a costume than an evening gown.  I hate to say this but that is what I felt.

Another fashion mistake to me was Julianna Margulies.  What in the hell?  It was some fully beaded dress with a very odd looking beading pattern .  Her hair looked like she had just rolled out of bed.  And to top it off when they were interviewing her it was like she could have cared less about being there.  Possibly because she knew she had a bad dress on.  Anyway, none of it was working for me.

And last but not least, Kara Sedgwick.  I tried to like it.  I really did.  But man, it was not the most flattering gown she could have picked .  You know that gown was fitted to her but for some reason with all that textile it just looked like it was just dangling on her.  It was too long, too wide, too heavy and just not the most flattering formal dress.  Again, I wanted to like it because of the red burgundy color and the bust line but that ball gown skirt  in what appeared to be an extremely heavy piece of fabric just ruined it for me.  And I was not a fan of her speech either .

Anyway, there were a few others that I liked well enough and some others that just let me hanging.  But I can only sit at this computer so long.  So those are the picks from Cordell Couture.  Can’t wait to see what Joan Rivers has to say about all _these fashions .  I am anxious to see if others agree with me.
